Thursday 30th July 2009 was a sad day for all of us Free Spirits. After a long rule as leader King Rar decided to abdicate his throne and move back to being a member. Rar has been the longest serving leader of Free Spirits so far, taking over from Bluehawk way back in May 2008 and I am sure we all agree he has been an excellent leader. Fortunately for Free Spirits he is going to continue to play Lotro. Thanks so much Rar, it has been great and now maybe that gorgeous baby boy will get a longer bath time! |

On the 6th of July Free Spirits made a triumphant return to the Vile Maw. After months of Wayne having the upper hand during version 2 of is incarnation, in many many battles, FS finally got revenge. It was an epic struggle, with plenty of drama, and even had our signature close call with Wayne getting down to 7K :P. But perseverance won out and the next round Free Spirits were victorious and we managed to down Wayne 3.0. |

On thursday 12th of Feb. Free Spirits decided to returm to Helegrod. After many months of the darkness of moria, and the heat of the rift, we decided that a jaunt in the cold, with the sun beating down would be just the ticket. Sadly this was not to be the case and as usuall it snowed :P playing havoc with some peoples computers. How ever we persivered and eventually found ourselves dead after our first attempt on thorog :( Not an unusuall situation, and a feeling I had got used to myself. Altho we had many level 60's and a few people pn there way to 60, we also had our fair share of low lvl toons, and some n00bs, who hadn't even raided before. We did however dust ourselves off, remeber the bits of the startegy that the leader forgot to mention, and had another go. Now despite a few exploding kinnies, radiance gear doesn't stop that :P we managed to finally get a large drake skull for the kinhouse yard, and killed Thorog in the process. Luckilly for us feasul was recording this fight and has posted it on somet called youtube, and it can be found on his channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEg8c-JfekE&fmt=22. One day we will get Tinks very sexy voice on a video :) instead of miy not so sexy voice :P |
