The competitors met at the kinship house to receive their first clue which was delivered by kinship mail. However the start was initially slow due to the difficulty of finding a small and sneaky hobbit hidden under one of the many pink blossomed trees in Falathlorn.  After a succession of additional clues she was finally discovered by everyone and the event moved on. Riddles were given as to the location of each hidden officer and the seekers continued to travel across Middle Earth to reveal their locations and provide them with various scavenged materials in order to receive the next clue. In the of case 'Yarrowroot' however an inspection of virtues was required to finish the task....those who purchased yarrowroot on the AH found themselves out of pocket and a little wide of the mark.

The event took longer than anticipated leaving Goldberry quite exhausted by X's constant attentions and X so elated that he deserted his post early leaving poor Bara lost in the Old Forest with no chance of finding him. Eventually a winner was announced, congratulations to Narlonath, aka Rowie/Slowie, on coming first closely followed by Mya and Jhaarael. Prizes were a crafted item of their choice, Slowie and J choosing  a Flawless Galadhrim Dagger each and for Mya a Lothlorien Stalker's Cloak. Thanks again to all who participated in the event, it was a good kin evening away from the current grind of Moria.
